2025 Formula 1 calendar announced
Australia returns to its traditional Round 1 slot as part of a record-equalling 24-race calendar
Fans can start planning for 2025 following Formula 1’s confirmation of the 2025 World Championship calendar, beginning on 16 March in Australia.
The 2025 Formula 1 calendar will feature a record-equalling 24 Grands Prix, with every race from the 2024 season confirmed to return in 2025. The order of the races has once again been switched up, however, as part of F1’s continued attempts to make the calendar more sustainable as they target a “more efficient flow of races”.
For the first time since 2019, Australia will return to its traditional season-opening spot on the calendar. Melbourne has hosted the season's first round on 22 occasions since 1996, but Bahrain has taken over in the last four years.

Oscar's home race, the Australian Grand Prix, will return as the season opener in 2025
The 2025 season will start with a double header, beginning on 14-16 March with Oscar’s home race in Melbourne, Australia, before the second round takes place in Shanghai, China on 21-23 March.
After a weekend off, we’ll enter the first triple header of the year, with the Japanese Grand Prix taking place in spring during cherry blossom season for the second year in a row on 4-6 April.
This will be followed by the Bahrain Grand Prix, which will become the fourth round of the season on 11-13 April, ahead of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix on 18-20 April. The races in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia took place on a Saturday in 2024 to accommodate Ramadan, but will both be Sunday races in 2025 due to their new positions on the calendar.
The Miami Grand Prix retains its position at the beginning of May, taking place on 2-4. This is followed by the start of the European season, with the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix on 16-18 May, the Monaco Grand Prix on 23-25 May and the Spanish Grand Prix on 30 May–1 June.
Represent the team
Following the season’s second triple header, we race in Montreal, Canada, on 13-15 June before returning to Europe on 27-29 June for the Austrian Grand Prix, which is followed by ours and Lando’s home race, the British Grand Prix at Silverstone on 4-5 July.
Ahead of the summer break, the Belgian Grand Prix takes place on 25-27 July, followed by the Hungarian Grand Prix on 1-3 August. We return to action following F1’s summer holiday on 29-31 August after a two-week break, with the Dutch Grand Prix. The European season then comes to a close with the Italian Grand Prix in Monza on 5-7 September.
Azerbaijan hosts Round 17 on 19-21 September, followed by the Singapore Grand Prix on 3-5 October. Austin hosts the US Grand Prix on 17-19 October ahead of the Mexico City Grand Prix on 24-26 October.
The São Paulo Grand Prix is the final standalone race of 2025 on 7-9 November, before the season ends with a triple header of Las Vegas (20-22 November), Qatar (28-30 November) and Abu Dhabi (5-7 December).
