Formula 1 announce the six Sprint venues for 2025
China, Miami, Belgium, Austin, São Paulo, and Qatar will stage Sprints next season
Formula 1 have announced the six venues that will host F1 Sprint events in 2025.
The first Sprint event of the season will take place in Shanghai, China, which will host its second successive Sprint. This will be followed by another in Miami for the second year in a row.
Belgium will host a Sprint for the first time since 2023, followed by a third successive Sprint in Austin, USA and a fifth consecutive Sprint event in São Paulo. Brazil. Qatar also remains on the Sprint calendar for the third year running, hosting the final Sprint of the season.
Since the introduction of the Sprint format five years ago, we’ve enjoyed plenty of success in the shortened races, including a victory for Oscar at Qatar in 2024, which he converted from pole.
We notched four Sprint podiums in total in 2023 and have carried over this form into 2024. We took a double Sprint podium in the Austrian Grand Prix Sprint, with Oscar in second and Lando third.
