McLaren Services Limited is the controller and is responsible for your personal data.

Information collected

The Company may collect your data for the 5 different website and app services and features as set out below.

1. McLaren Plus

We may collect information submitted to us such as title, name, email, country and date of birth for membership of McLaren Plus, as set out further in the McLaren Plus privacy policy here.

2. Careers

We may collect information submitted to us by you on our careers websites. All information submitted via our careers websites shall be processed and used in accordance with the careers privacy policy.

3. Media (accredited journalists only)

The Company may collect the information submitted to us by you (i.e. your name, email address, company and accreditation) to add you to a mailing list (at McLaren’s absolute discretion) in order to send you media/press release related emails on the latest Company news.

The Company shall hold on to this information for an initial period of 2 years and shall ask for your consent every additional 2 years in order to allow the Company to send you press releases, news and updates in relation to the Company and other McLaren Group companies . If you do not consent you shall be removed from our mailing list and shall be permanently deleted from our records.

The Company may also collect information submitted to us by you (i.e. your name, email address, company and accreditation) to add you (at the Company’s absolute discretion) to the McLaren Media Centre where you shall gain access to certain still and moving images, and content belonging to the Company. The Company shall hold on to this information for an initial period of 2 years and shall ask for your consent every additional 2 years in order to continue holding onto your information in consideration for access to the McLaren Media Centre. If you do not consent you shall be removed from the McLaren Media Centre and shall be permanently deleted from our records.

4. McLaren Social Wall

When you click accept and upload your content to the McLaren Social Wall, you give us this information voluntarily. This may include your name, email address, phone number, photographs of you, copies of your social media posts (which may include location data if you have this feature enabled), comments and any other information you give us. This information may (at McLaren’s absolute discretion) be uploaded to the McLaren Social Wall on our website page. By sending us this information you grant us the right to display and reproduce the information submitted to us, in any manner the Company require, including on our website and at other events (such as on our garage wall at Grands Prix). Such information shall remain on the McLaren Social Wall for a period of up to 5 (five) years thereafter it shall be permanently deleted.

5. Other (i.e. Contact Us)

We may collect additional information in connection with your participation in any promotions or competitions offered by us from time to time on the website and app and information you provide when giving us feedback or completing profile forms. This information shall be kept only as long as required to complete your query. We also monitor customer traffic patterns and site and app use which enables us to improve the service we provide.

McLaren Store

The McLaren Store is managed by our agent, Castore, and as such, it is the data processor for all transactions on the store. McLaren Store's privacy policy can be found here.

Disclosures of your information

Your information may be passed to and used by all McLaren Group companies. We will never pass your personal data to anyone else, except for any successors in title to our business and suppliers that process data on our behalf both in the UK and abroad. We may also use and disclose your information in aggregate for marketing purposes such as remarketing and for strategic development purposes. In this instance a cookie may be placed on your machine so that adverts may be served and tailored to you when you are on other websites, based on the content you have browsed on our websites (or if you have engaged with previous adverts served to you). Other websites

Our website may contain links to other websites which are outside our control and are not covered by this privacy notice. If you access other sites using the links provided, the operators of these sites may collect information from you which will be used by them in accordance with their privacy policy, which may differ from ours.
