"What a day and what a season. We weren’t able to finish the season on the note that we hoped, but it has been a pleasure working with such a fantastic team this year, who have been working hard all season long. I think we started the year with good momentum, my highlight being the podium in Diriyah, but the second half of the season was much more challenging. We had a mixture of performance issues and some bad luck, and I think the whole team deserved more than where we finished. In tough times you get better, and I know the team is already working on improving for Season 10.”

“The London E-Prix marks the end of my rookie year in Formula E. I’ve enjoyed it immensely, I’ve learnt so much, and I’ve been working with an absolutely wonderful team that have taught me so much. Despite the difficulties we faced, I know this year will stand me in good stead moving forward into Season 10. It’s obviously been a bit of a tale of two halves, we started the year really strongly, yet we struggled to find consistency and execution in the second half of the year. I think we had really good potential and pace in the second half of the year but for many reasons, we struggled to put the points on the board. We’re just looking forward to resetting already, thinking about Season 10 now, and we know we’ve got potential there so that’ll be the goal.”

“The final race of Season 9 has been indicative of the second half of our season. We have struggled to find both the pace and consistency required to prevail in this Championship. And it hurts. Big time.

Each and every member of the team feels the same way. Now we need to do two things… turn this feeling into motivation to improve, and start Season 10 today. As I write this, the drivers and the team are debriefing to ensure that we have every detail required to address the issues we have encountered. Despite the fact that the disappointment is palpable, they are approaching this with a level of professionalism that will propel this team forward, right back to where it deserves to be.

I’m immensely proud of this team and am grateful to be on this journey with this group of people. I’m also so grateful for the support we receive from our fans, who are with us through the good times and the bad. Season 10 can’t come soon enough.”
