Historically, when winning a Championship, McLaren have carried the successful livery through to the following season.
After the victories in the 2025 Constructors’ and Drivers’ World Championships, the 2026 livery continues this tradition, using the iconic papaya colour palette alongside striking anthracite and small hints of teal.

For the 2026 season, the introduction of revised aerodynamic and power unit rules will result in smaller, lighter F1 cars that use 100% sustainable fuels and have increased battery power.
Team Principal Andrea Stella watched on as the team brought our new car to life at McLaren HQ in Woking, marking a key milestone ahead of the first Pre-Season Test in Barcelona, Spain.
