Prior to this year's race in Austin, the last time we had taken Pole in the US Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton was driving a chrome-coloured McLaren... so it was fitting that we were back in the fan-favourite livery this weekend as Lando topped Qualifying, his sixth Pole in 10 races.

Our car was wearing a special one-off chrome livery for this weekend’s race, in partnership with Google, and although it might not have ended up on the podium in Sunday’s race, it did bring home Pole, a Sprint podium and a whole lot of points, as Lando and Oscar shone in a sparkly MCL38 in the Lone Star State.

In typical Texas style, the weekend was full of the weird and the wonderful and we’ve captured the best of it below from social media… Here’s what you made of the 2024 United States Grand Prix.
