NTT INDYCAR SERIES action continued at the Milwaukee Mile Saturday, where the field qualified for both races, and Race 1 kicked off through 91 laps before a lengthy rain delay ultimately forced the series to call the action for the day before resuming Sunday morning. Pato emerged as the top qualifier for the team, and through the opening action of Race 1, led 54 laps while setting the fastest lap in the race thus far (159.455 mph). He'll lead the field to green when they return to racing Sunday morning. Christian pushed forward in the opening stints and will begin the resumed race in P5, with Nolan in P22. Tune in to the remainder of the first leg of the Milwaukee Mile doubleheader currently scheduled for 9:00 a.m. ET Sunday ahead of the second race at 1:00 p.m. ET.

“Let's just hope that the rain doesn't get in the way again tomorrow. If we're going to be able to complete the whole thing, there will be two strategies going on but it's hard to say. On the final 50 laps or so we were thinking about getting in, I wasn't planning on pitting, save some fuel perhaps and stretch it. It's what it is, and we'll come back tomorrow and keep digging from there.”

"A long but short race day, and we’ll have to see how things start off tomorrow. The car is pretty sporty, so we have a good foundation for the second half of the race and whatever else Sunday brings. It’s good to be fighting for some good points with where we’re positioned right now, and we’ll see how tomorrow goes."

"My qualifying laps today were my first real laps at speed on track, so it wasn’t an ideal situation, but we’re making the most of it for the two races. We started Race 1 and weren’t in too bad of a spot; we were making progress when the red flag came out. I think we’re in a good place into the rest of Race 1 tomorrow and hopefully an even better start to Race 2 to round out the weekend."
