Preparations for the Milwaukee Mile doubleheader began Friday with Arrow McLaren completing a combined 108 laps in the weekend's sole practice session.

Pato ended the session P9, while Christian finished P22. Nolan's session was halted early after making contact with the Turn 2 wall on the third lap of the session.

Next up is Saturday morning Qualifying, which will determine the starting grids for both races of the Milwaukee Mile doubleheader.

"We tested here in Milwaukee a few weeks ago. It doesn't seem too different today after Practice 1. I don't think we're in a position to change much. We just really need to get as much out of it as we can and make sure we're in a good position to fight our way forward.”

"It’s not how we wanted to start the weekend; we have some things to work on from the car perspective, but it sounds like we all have the same problem across the field and within the team. It’s a bit different than the test, so there’s more we need to find. I’m not too worried about the one-lap speed, I just want to make sure we have a good race car and are competitive from wherever we start."

“That was not the start we wanted here in Milwaukee, but we tested here recently and I have no doubt that we will be strong tomorrow. Appreciate the hard work from the 6 car in re-building the car across a busy doubleheader weekend. We'll dive into it, figure out what happened and make sure that we're in a good spot to have a good Race 1 tomorrow afternoon.”
