ARROW McLAREN REVEALS DOUBLE SMARTSTOP LIVERIES FOR INAUGURAL RACE IN MARKHAM

"We’re excited to team up with SmartStop once again in Ontario at a new event and new location"

Arrow McLaren

INDIANAPOLIS – Arrow McLaren today revealed the liveries for the Nos. 6 and 7 SmartStop Arrow McLaren Chevrolets for this weekend’s inaugural NTT INDYCAR SERIES race on the streets of Markham, Ontario.

This double livery takeover marks the fourth race this season in which SmartStop Self Storage REIT, Inc. (“SmartStop”) has been featured as a Primary Partner with the team following previous showcases on the streets of Arlington, streets of Long Beach and at Portland International Raceway. An Arrow McLaren partner since 2023, the storage solutions company previously ran a double livery with the team on the streets of Toronto last year.

This weekend in Markham, Nolan Siegel will drive the No. 6 SmartStop Arrow McLaren Chevrolet, and Christian Lundgaard will pilot the No. 7 SmartStop Arrow McLaren Chevrolet to round out the dual livery takeover. Both drivers sported SmartStop liveries in Toronto in 2025, as well. Christian will look to continue his charge in the championship standings, currently sitting fourth, while Nolan aims to continue positive momentum after recent P10 and P11 finishes at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course and Nashville Superspeedway, respectively.

The No. 6 SmartStop Arrow McLaren Chevrolet maintains the familiar aesthetic seen in past iterations of the livery, highlighted by the SmartStop blue with the secondary white and papaya on the nose and rear wing of the car. The No. 7 SmartStop Arrow McLaren Chevrolet inverts that design with white along the body paired with blue and papaya as secondary colors. In celebration of its extensive Canadian footprint, SmartStop will feature its Canadian maple leaf logo across both cars.

Arrow McLaren will help kick off the first on-track action on the 12-turn, 2.19-mile street circuit on Friday with Practice 1. The racetrack will run alongside the eastern precinct of Markham’s downtown district and is set to offer an abundance of challenges including several technically demanding sectors, a mix of long straightaways along with tight hairpin corners.

Kevin Thimjon, President, Arrow McLaren IndyCar Team, said:

"We’re excited to team up with SmartStop once again in Ontario at a new event and new location. The dynamic livery designs will catch fans’ attention on the new street course in Markham, a key market for SmartStop’s business. Now in the fourth year of our partnership, we value SmartStop’s continued support and look forward to delivering for their brand on and off track this weekend."

H. Michael Schwartz, Chairman, CEO, SmartStop, said:

"The Ontario Honda Dealers Indy at Markham marks an exciting new chapter for our partnership with Arrow McLaren, and we're proud to bring the SmartStop livery to a brand-new market on the NTT INDYCAR SERIES calendar. Markham is a natural fit for us as we continue to grow our footprint across the Greater Toronto Area and Canada more broadly. This livery reveal reflects the momentum of our partnership with Arrow McLaren and our commitment to the communities we serve across Canada, where we now have more than 50 locations."
