Arrow McLaren 2026 Mission Foods Grand Prix of Monterey Friday Report

The NTT INDYCAR SERIES kicked off its on-track action at Laguna Seca with Practice 1 on a beautiful Friday afternoon in the Golden State.

Pato led the way for Arrow McLaren, posting the third-fastest lap in the session while Nolan and Christian slotted in at P16 and P18, respectively.

The team will work on fine tuning setups and return to track on Saturday for Practice 2, Qualifying and Final Practice ahead of Sunday's finale.

"Solid, standard Practice 1 for us here in Laguna. It’s nice to be back on a road course with a normal schedule. I’m feeling competitive, but we still have some work to do. We’ll see what we can do overnight to get us from a midfield car to a front-of-the-field car."

"We’ve got work to do overnight here at Laguna Seca. I struggled with the balance throughout P1, so we’ll look into that and get the car into a better position for tomorrow. We’ve got a lot to race for with second in the championship so tight across a few of us. This is the finale, and we’ll work hard to put it all together.”
