The Italian Grand Prix according to social

Rubber ducks, forgotten shoes, and the two new Wonders of the World: The best of social from Monza

It’s been a long time coming, but we finally got the reunion that everyone’s been waiting for… No, not that one: Oscar and his rubber ducks.

That was just one highlight from the weekend, as the Italian Grand Prix reaffirmed why it's one of the most beloved races on the calendar, living up to its billing as a weekend packed full of food, fun and fantastic racing.

The atmosphere was electric as the European season drew to a close and attention turned to the final eight races, with the battle in the Constructors’ and Drivers’ Championships heating up. Here’s the best of social from Monza.

How could you not?! Their smiles brighten our days! 😁

How do you know it wasn’t his idea?

Great question… and we honestly haven't got a clue. 👟

Introducing social media's newest hidden gem picnic spot.

Request lodged with the official Wonders of the World comittee to declare this as fact.

The comeback you've all been waiting for: Oscar and the ducks are finally back together. 🦆

Quali ready, let’s get it.

The Q3 streak continues. 📈

BOOM. You really showed up, team. 🙌

Just your friendly neighbourhood papaya-men.

Happy race day, Papaya Army.

🧡 you.

Thanks, team!

Oscar emerged in the lead at the end of Lap 1 and began trading Fastest Laps with Lando in third.

After their pit stops, Oscar and Lando began fighting their way back through the field.

Seeing as you asked to nicely…

Nothing to see here, just Bruce McKitten living in the meow-ment.

Another consistent performance from Oscar earned him P2, ensuring our podium streak continues.

An impressive 10th podium of 2024 for Lando, who claimed the Fastest Lap on the last lap for the second race in a row.

Thanks, @OneEyesOfRacing. 👊🧡

Another two for the collection.

That’s why we love you, Papaya Army.

We’re not sure about this whole ‘weekend without any racing' nonsense, but you know what they say… absence makes the heart grow stronger. We'll see you all in Baku, in just under two weeks.
