That’s a wrap on the European season, and after a hectic Italian Grand Prix, we’ll need to catch our breath before we head off to Singapore for an Asian double-header.

We may not be returning to McLaren HQ with as many points as we’d have liked, but no one can deny that the Dutch and Italian Grands Prix were two of the craziest, most exciting races we’ve had all season.

Contact between Oscar and Lewis Hamilton forced the Australian into the pits for a nose change, which dropped him down to 14th. He fought back and crossed the line 11th, but was handed a time penalty, which demoted him to 12th.

On the other side of the garage, Lando finished eighth, securing his sixth successive points finish.
