THE MEXICO CITY GRAND PRIX ACCORDING TO SOCIAL MEDIA

Mexicat, lucky mascots and Bruce Almighty: Mexico City’s best tweets

Lando's recovery drive from P17 to P5, and Oscar’s defiant defence of P8 after taking damage early in the race, resulted in one of the most entertaining grands prix of the season, but despite their heroics, it was Mexican fan Milo who proved to be the star of the show.

The young McLaren supporter captured the hearts of Formula 1 fans around the world for his adorable reaction as he got to meet Lando on his birthday weekend. Milo's dreams came true in Mexico City after he was spotted in the crowd waving a sign asking for a photo, where he dubbed himself as Lando’s “Mexican No.1 fan”.
