2026 Arrow McLaren Road America Friday Report

The NTT INDYCAR SERIES race weekend at “America's National Park of Speed” kicked off Friday afternoon with a fast and positive session for Arrow McLaren. The trio showed strong pace after getting a jump-start on race weekend prep via a test at Road America last week.

Pato and Nolan posted top-five lap times in Practice 1 in P4 and P5, respectively, with Christian following in P13.

The Arrow McLaren Chevrolets will be back on track Saturday for Practice 2 at 11:00 a.m. ET and then Qualifying at 2:00 p.m. ET.

"Great first run today, and then maybe not so great afterward, which we'll work out. I love driving around this place. It's a great facility, beautiful circuit and always a joy, so we're going to try to maximize this weekend. Let's make it a good one for all three cars on the team."

"It was a good session. I had a good test here a little over a week ago so just getting back to it. This is one of my favorite tracks, always love driving around here. So, just having a good time driving Road America in a fast car."

Christian Lundgaard, Driver, No. 7 VELO Arrow McLaren Chevrolet

"It was an interesting P1, not quite where we expected to be at with pace after the test we had here last week. It was a little confusing, and we have a lot of work to do. Obviously our two teammates were there from the beginning, so we have cars to look at, which is always nice. I'm confident we will turn it around."
