It was a jam-packed Saturday of on-track action for the NTT INDYCAR SERIES at World Wide Technology Raceway with Qualifying sandwiched between morning and evening practices on the 1.25-mile oval.

Pato topped the speed charts in Practice 1 before landing a P9 starting position in Qualifying. Christian and Nolan will start from P16 and P22 on race day, respectively.

All three Arrow McLaren drivers will aim to move forward during the first night race of the season with FOX's broadcast coverage beginning Sunday night at 9:00 p.m. ET.

"At the end of Practice, the car was great. For Qualifying, it was missed somewhere on the ride height. It wasn’t feeling like it did at the end of Practice. So, I had to back out so many times when the car was already accelerating. That just kills you, so I’m actually pretty shocked we ended up ninth."

"We came a long way through P1 to get the car in the window, but leaving that Practice session, I never found the pace to get to a comfortable spot to set me up for Qualifying. I’m disappointed, for sure, with where we’re starting tomorrow, but there’s a lot to learn from the high line and night practice which will be a lot closer to the conditions we’ll have for the race tomorrow night. We’ve got some work to do overnight, and we’ll be ready to race under the lights."

"The overall grip level was fine, just not the balance at all that we were looking for. I was all the way from one end to the other on tools before the green flag even came. Just not in the window there. That's okay. We'll work on the race car and do what we can tomorrow. We've raced well on the ovals and raced well at Indy. We had a solid day there, and we'll have another solid one here tomorrow. I’m bummed to not qualify better, but it's not really going to make a difference tomorrow."
