This week we welcomed some very special guests to the McLaren Technology Centre.

The New Zealand All Blacks made a pitstop in Woking before their international against England.

McLaren shares something very special with the rugby team - our New Zealand heritage.

During their visit, the Kiwis learned about our founder Bruce McLaren and his story, from local hillclimbs and club races in and around his native Auckland, to establishing the McLaren Formula 1arrow top right team. They saw the McLaren Production Centre, where all McLaren roadcars are built, before ending the tour with a pitstop challenge. Naturally, it was a very competitive session.

Their day ended with a chance for McLaren personnel to ask the team questions about how they operate, their history and what keeps them motivated.

McLaren and the All Blacks share common stories, common heritage and a common bond. We were delighted to welcome the squad to McLaren and wish them the best of luck in their upcoming northern tour matches.
