2026 Arrow McLaren Mid-Ohio Friday Report

Lexington, Ohio, welcomed the NTT INDYCAR SERIES to the 13-turn, 2.258-mile Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course under sweltering conditions, with the heat index climbing to 98 degrees. Arrow McLaren opened the weekend on strong footing in Practice 1 with Christian, Pato and Nolan finishing fourth, fifth and seventh, respectively. The team will continue refining its setups ahead of a Fourth of July Saturday that will feature Practice 2 and Qualifying at Mid-Ohio.

"It's pretty toasty out there. It was a good session, and I feel like we are somewhat there. We need to find some time to the 10 car but ultimately, I feel like it's where we left off. We're on the right path. I'm trying to stay hydrated and trying to stay cool. That's the most important thing right now. We'll keep digging."

“Practice 1 done here in Mid-Ohio. I love this place; this track is great and always a joy to drive. We started off smoothly, and we’re going to keep working tonight to try to make the car better and see what we’ve got tomorrow. But it’s a good start, and this has been a good track for us in the past so we’re going to try and repeat 2024.”

"It was a solid start today for the weekend. There were a couple small issues that the team worked through and got us back out to get all of our laps in. I was happy with the balance from the start, similar to Road America where we rolled off the truck pretty happy, so we'll look to get into the Fast Six like we did here last year and finish it off on Sunday."
