Arrow McLaren 108th Indianapolis 500 Day 2 Practice Report

After a near complete washout due to rain on Opening Day at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the Arrow McLaren IndyCar Team was on track for Day 2 in preparation for the Indianapolis 500.

23 minutes of practice on Tuesday was all that could be completed due to Mother Nature, and the same was almost said about Wednesday's on-track activity. Five hours of missed practice time eventually led to the green flag at 3 p.m. ET today and four hours of practice.

Alexander Rossi was quickest of the Arrow McLaren cars, finishing fifth, while Pato O'Ward was seventh, Kyle Larson in 15th and Callum Ilott in 21st.

The team is back at the Speedway from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. ET on Thursday.

"It was a pretty productive day, and it was nice to get some proper running in, as well. The car feels good; it's very comfortable. We've been working hard and chipping away at it. There are a couple of clear things that we need to look at overnight, and hopefully we can sort that out for tomorrow, but I think overall, it's not a bad start."
