Everyone at McLaren Racing wishes Piers the best in his future endeavours
McLaren Racing today announces that Piers Thynne will leave the team during the month of July to pursue an opportunity with Williams F1 Team.
Piers joined McLaren Racing in 2008 and is currently managing the McLaren heritage programme. He has previously held a number of roles within the team most recently serving as Chief Operating Officer from March 2023 until January 2026.
Everyone at McLaren Racing wishes Piers the best in his future endeavours and are thankful for his 18 years of service with the team.
