“It is a huge honour to represent such an iconic team and brand for the final race of the 2023 Extreme E season. I’m really looking forward to heading back to Chile. I’ll be arriving with confidence as I competed on this track last season. I’m also looking forward to getting to know the NEOM McLaren team better and working with them. Hopefully I can help them end the season on a high.”

“I’m super excited for the last two rounds of the 2023 Extreme E season. We’ve had some struggles this year, but Chile is my favourite track on the calendar, and as a team we have been quick there in the past. We’ll be pushing with maximum attack, and it’s the type of track where the harder you drive, the more fun it is. The team has been putting in a great effort this season, and I hope we see it rewarded there.

“It’s a shame that Emma is not well enough to compete in Chile, but it’ll be great to have Hedda stepping in. Let’s do this!”

“For the final two rounds of the 2023 season, we’ll be returning to the Atacama Desert in Chile. This is a course we have previously showed strength on, and we’re hoping to capitalise on our learnings from last season here.

“It is no secret that we have faced challenges throughout the season, particularly during the last event in Sardinia. The team have been working hard in the months since to prepare as best as we can to hit the ground running when we arrive in Chile.

“We will also have Hedda with us in Chile, who is competing in place of Emma for this event while she is still recovering from her incident in Sardinia. Hedda brings in-depth knowledge of Extreme E and she has already been a valuable asset to the team. We’re wishing Emma a speedy continued recovery, and we are glad that she can join us on the ground in Chile.”
