"We’ll keep fine-tuning and make the most of every minute"
With Qualifying in the books, the focus across the NTT INDYCAR SERIES turned toward race preparation in a rain-shortened Monday practice.
Unfortunately, after flashing strong pace early in the session, Pato was involved in an incident in Turn 2 which ended his day early. Pato tried to quickly maneuver around Alexander Rossi who had spun and hit the wall but ultimately made contact with Rossi's car. Pato was seen and released by INDYCAR Medical.
Nolan, Christian and Ryan each completed 32 laps in a productive session simulating racing scenarios.
Arrow McLaren will be on track next on Friday for Carb Day, with coverage starting at 11:00 a.m. ET on FS1.

"Pretty comfortable traffic runs today. We got some pit stops done. Productive session - we got through what we wanted to get through, and I’m feeling very comfortable. I would be very happy to race the car that we ended today with. Good way to go into the few days off track, and I’m excited to come back on Friday."

"Today’s session got cut short due to weather, but it was interesting conditions throughout. This place is tricky regardless, and today we were tested for the short stint on track. I was dodging a few bullets out there. While we put so many hours into practicing here, this week, you feel like you never have enough time. Let’s hope for a productive Carb Day.”
