Series returns to Europe for first time in 20 years with new major event in Barcelona

The 2027 NTT INDYCAR SERIES schedule is officially set with a 17-race slate featuring an exciting mix of familiar stops, returning venues and a new marquee international event at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Spain.
Arrow McLaren will open its 2027 campaign on the Streets of St. Petersburg on March 7 before heading west for a race at Phoenix Raceway on March 13. One week later, the series returns to the highly-acclaimed Streets of Arlington on March 21, setting up a busy opening stretch with three races in three distinct settings.
The season’s crown jewel arrives May 30 with the 111th Running of the Indianapolis 500, while the championship will again conclude at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca on September 5. Notably, the second half of the season features the series' first trip to Europe since 2007 with the inaugural IndyCar Grand Prix of Barcelona.
