“That’s Miami finished. It was quite a difficult race for us as a team. Both Sam and I were in good positions at one point, but we were unable hold them until the end of the race. Unfortunately, that’s the way some of these races go – there’s always ups and downs. We’ll regroup, review and come back stronger in the next race in Monaco.”

“We’ve just finished the Miami E-Prix. We finished P5 on the road, but due to a post-race penalty, we dropped outside of the points. It’s a big shame as we had a strong race and showcased good energy saving and some decent overtaking, and overall, I’m very proud of the team.
“I was very pleased with my performance; it’s just one of those things that happens in motorsport, and we’ll pick ourselves up and come back stronger.”

“It’s been great returning to Miami for the Miami E-Prix this weekend. Being back in the place where Formula E first raced in the US, is superb. Motorsport over here is going from strength to strength. The team, our fans and our partners thoroughly enjoyed our time here.
“We kicked off track action in Miami with confidence and great potential. The pace in both Free Practice session was very good from both Sam and Taylor, continuing the momentum we have built so far this season.
“Unfortunately, the team was unable to convert that early pace into a good Qualifying result. Both drivers were unable to progress into the Duel stages of Qualifying, starting the race in P11 and P19. The race started as planned, with Taylor and Sam able to keep their heads down and executing the strategies identified, before things started to unravel. We chose an aggressive strategy which saw our drivers take their Attack Mode activations at the back end of the race. It did not pay off the way we hoped it would, given a late red flag situation, making it impossible to execute the activation, and resulting in a penalty for both drivers, leaving us outside of the points.
“The Championship remains very open and we now switch our focus to Monaco. We need to ensure that we maximise out potential in every race from now on.”
