The NEOM McLaren Formula E Team today unveiled its livery for the 2024/25 season of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.

The 2024/25 season of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship will see the introduction of the GEN3 Evo cars, which are faster, more efficient and feature all-wheel drive for the first time.

The livery on the NEOM McLaren Formula E Team’s cars is striking, headlining the team’s iconic papaya colouration, accompanied by bold linework, making it recognisably part of the NEOM McLaren Electric Racing family.

The 2024/25 season will mark the third season in Formula E for the NEOM McLaren Formula E Team, after entering for the first time ahead of the 2022/23 season. In its second year, NEOM McLaren finished P7 in the teams’ standings with 101 points, with highlights including a victory in São Paulo and a podium in Shanghai.

Taylor Barnard and Sam Bird will get behind the wheel of the all-new GEN3 Evo car for the 2024/25 season of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, which will make its competitive debut at the São Paulo E-Prix on 7 December 2024.

This team has become like family to me, and I believe that we can achieve even better things together in the upcoming season. We’ve done some good work in our first season together. Now it’s time to build on that and create even better memories in my second year with the team.”

“I am delighted to be racing for the NEOM McLaren Formula E Team in Season 11. In Season 10, I was the team’s Reserve and Development Driver and during that time I learnt a lot, putting my knowledge into practice in Monaco and Berlin.

“I am excited to race alongside Sam this season, and I am sure I will learn a lot from him. He is one of the most experienced drivers on the grid, and I hope that together we can score plenty of points and collect some trophies for the team. I can’t wait to get started.”
