Felix Rosenqvist was born in Värnamo Sweden in 1991 and began his racing career karting throughout Europe at a young age. After conquering karting, Rosenqvist made his move to single-seater racing in Asia, becoming a regular podium contender. Moving throughout Europe, Rosenqvist spent six years racing in Formula 3 before he started taking opportunities with other motorsports and championships around the world.
Rosenqvist has a diverse background in motorsports making him a threat to other seasoned INDYCAR drivers. At 30-years-old, not only does his extensive background bring along skills, but it also brings fans from across to the globe. With an already high social and fan following Rosenqvist has been coming into his own personality and brand in INDYCAR.
In fall of 2019, Rosenqvist made the move to INDYCAR with Chip Ganassi Racing. His INDYCAR resume includes two previous seasons with Ganassi, eight top-five finishes including two podiums, 2019 Rooking of the year and a win at Road America in 2020: becoming the first Swedish winner in Wisconsin since 2002.
Alongside Pato O’Ward with Arrow McLaren for his second season, both drivers were a dynamic threat. Not only does this duo feed off each other's personalities, but skills. Throughout his four seasons racing in INDYCAR, it is clear Rosenqvist has the veteran skills to continue exceeding himself. In 2022, he finished with two poles and one podium. With an already impressive resume, the road will continue in 2023 with Pato and Alexander Rossi in the team’s three-car lineup.
