The NTT INDYCAR SERIES jumped straight into Qualifying today, with low visibility restrictions canceling the morning practice session.

Pato and the No. 5 Arrow McLaren Chevrolet crew continued their momentum, securing a front row starting position - his best qualifying result at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca to date. He will line up right next to the championship-leading No. 10 car in what is set to be an electrifying start of the race.

Christian advanced through the initial round of Qualifying and produced a P7 starting position. Nolan recorded a solid lap time but missed out on advancing, and will start P16.

"This is my best starting position here. We'll take that. I'm just happy that we had a smooth Qualifying, as we've been a bit of a stranger to the Firestone Fast 6 this year. It was good to have made a run for the pole. We'll see what tomorrow has in store."

Christian Lundgaard, Driver, No. 7 VELO Arrow McLaren Chevrolet

"We had a big improvement from yesterday from Practice 1. We didn't get to run Practice 2 for weather reasons, so it was really going out there and hoping for the best but also just pushing and having fun out there. We definitely had a car to transfer to the Firestone Fast 6, but we were a little unfortunate with a few cars going off in front of us that caused a yellow flag. It was very unfortunate, but I do think the pace is in the car, and it's massively improved from yesterday, so there's a lot to look forward to tomorrow."

Nolan Siegel, Driver, No. 6 NTT DATA Arrow McLaren Chevrolet

"That was a bad Qualifying for us given what we expected. I'll do what I can do tomorrow from 16th, but this made our weekend a lot more difficult than it had to be."
