Hear from NEOM McLaren Formula E Team drivers Taylor Barnard and Sam Bird, and Team Principal Ian James after the London E-Prix season finale.

“That's the second race in London finished. This was not the way that we wanted to finish this weekend or this season, nor the end of NEOM McLaren's journey. 

"However, I wanted to extend a massive thank you to the team. Everyone has done a great job this season to place me fourth in the Driver's Championship. I want to say a massive thank you to everybody for all their hard work this season, and it's definitely going to be one to remember." 

“That's a wrap in London. That's not the end that NEOM McLaren wanted or deserved. I want to say a huge thanks to who has been a part of this project. I take my hat off to you. To all of our papaya fans - you are incredible, so loyal, so supportive. You picked us up when we were down. You cheered us on when we did well. And from me to you, I'm so thankful."

“Today’s race was a bitter end to our season and the team’s story. However, there’s no point in going out without a fight and both drivers certainly pushed hard in what was a typically chaotic final race here in London. 

“Over the coming days, we’ll reflect on our time as the NEOM McLaren Formula E Team. Once the dust has settled, we’ll share some thoughts on this chapter, and those which came before. For now; thank you to the team, our partners, and our fans for everything.”
