We take a light-hearted look back on F1 testing
They think it’s all over… It is now!
That’s right, Formula 1 pre-season testing is done and dusted for another year and it’s all systems go at McLaren for the Australian Grand Prix. But before we turn our attention to the season opener, we thought we would take one last, light-hearted, look back on our time at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
Not only did six days in the Spanish sun provide us with ample opportunity to put plenty of miles on the MCL35 (2,320 to be exact), it also gave us the chance to take lots of photos of the team in action. And although they say a picture paints a thousand words, we thought we would add just a few more to bring a smile to your face.

When you return from lunch to find that your dad is on track in the MCL35 and has just set a faster lap time than you.
“No, seriously. Who let him in the car?”
That face you pull when you want to look like you understand what the other person is talking about, but really you have absolutely no clue. We’ve all been there Taff, we’ve all been there…
Having been told repeatedly not to touch the rear wing, the inevitable happened. And Andrea was not best pleased.
