Wilson joined the McLaren Shadow Academy aged 15, before graduating to the McLaren Shadow team in 2022 to support the team in the F1 Sim Racing Championship. He competed with the team up until the end of the 2026 F1 Sim Racing Championship season.
Known for his calculated and adaptable driving style, the Scottish driver began sim racing aged 13, winning back-to-back Premier Sim Gaming League titles during his rise through the ranks.
