Sparco, one of the McLaren Formula 1 team’s longest-standing partners, has extended its agreement with the team.

Building on more than two decades of collaboration, the agreement will see Sparco partner McLaren until at least 2021. Having formed the original partnership in 1996, this agreement will see McLaren and Sparco celebrate 25 years together.

McLaren driver Stoffel Vandoorne will also become an ambassador for the Italian racewear provider, wearing Sparco racing gloves and boots for the first time and aiding in future research and development. Sparco continues to innovate and develop racewear products fit for the latest demands of the sport, providing technology, quality and experience developed in Italy.

In addition to McLaren’s Formula 1 operation, Sparco will also continue to support McLaren’s 2018 esports programme. Sparco offers a full range of racing-derived esports kit that improves the in-home and in-competition experience of gamers, providing quality products with an authentic racing feel.
