McLAREN Racing stands with UNICEF to support the Ukraine Emergency Appeal
UNICEF is working around the clock to deliver essential supplies to protect children

The conflict in Ukraine means millions of children and their families are in immediate danger. The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) are especially concerned for the safety and wellbeing of children who have become separated from their families.
Today, McLaren Racing has announced it is working with UNICEF to support their humanitarian efforts in relation to the children and families who are in danger.
The past eight years of conflict have inflicted profound and lasting damage to children. UNICEF is currently working across eastern Ukraine to scale up life-saving programmes for children. This includes trucking safe water to conflict-affected areas; prepositioning health, hygiene and emergency education supplies as close as possible to communities near the line of contact; and working with municipalities to ensure there is immediate help for children and families in need. Additionally, UNICEF teams are providing psychosocial care to children traumatised by the chronic insecurity.
In response to the recent escalation, UNICEF is ready to scale up its humanitarian efforts to respond to the growing humanitarian needs across the country. However, they need US$ 66.4 million to provide access to basic services including water and sanitation, immunisation and health care, schooling and learning, psychosocial support, and emergency cash assistance for up to 7.5 million children.
McLaren Racing is donating towards UNICEF’s emergency appeal and is reaching out to McLaren colleagues, friends and fans to raise awareness of UNICEF’s work globally and their Ukraine emergency appeal.
