So, you’ve seen the announcement of our brand-new experience on Roblox, and you want to get involved. Let’s get you racing, chasing, and cruising the streets in the MCL36 before both F1 drivers Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo.

What is the Roblox McLaren experience?

First, let’s start with what Roblox is and how to access it. Roblox is a global online platform with millions of virtual experiences, and it’s available across a wide range of devices, including PC, Xbox, mobile, and more. We worked with development studio 'The Gang' to recreate our home, the McLaren Technology Centre (MTC), to virtually launch our 2022 challenger, the MCL36.

The McLaren F1 Racing Experience offers the Roblox community a chance to explore the re-creation of the MTC, get an up-close look at the new race car, take selfies, purchase exclusive McLaren Formula 1 digital items, and dress up their avatar as Lando or Daniel.

You’ll be able to explore the MTC starting at 13:00 PST/21:00 GMT on 11 February. Then, starting Friday 11 February 21:00 PST/ Saturday 12 February 05:00 GMT, you’ll be able to drive the virtual MCL36 and take it out for a spin across some of the most popular experiences on Roblox, including Driving Simulator, Jailbreak, and Ultimate Driving.

How can I visit the MTC and drive the MCL36 on Roblox?

Make sure you’ve downloaded and signed up for Roblox. Next, follow the steps to create an avatar you can take everywhere you go on Roblox. Then, search for McLaren Racing or visit this link, and you’ll gain access to the McLaren F1 Racing Experience.
