Arrow McLAREN 2025 Java House Grand Prix of Monterey Race Report
"We delivered Team Chevy's top performance again this weekend"

Christian seemed to be on the limit all day, executing daring passes across all parts of the track to take home a P2 result at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. In fact, his 14 passes were the most by any driver on the day.
This marked Arrow McLaren’s 11th podium of the season, setting a new single-season record for the team.
Pato battled traffic and ever-changing pit sequences to secure a P4 result. For Nolan, he led 11 laps - his first in his young NTT INDYCAR SERIES career - but a tire puncture and a chaotic middle portion of the race led to a P18 finish.

"I knew the pit sequences are really key around here, and we went into this race not knowing if it was going to be a primary or alternate tire race. It ended up being a red race, and I can't thank this team enough. This is the most podiums we've ever had in a year, and I'm very proud of the No. 7 VELO Arrow McLaren Chevrolet team."

Pato O'Ward, Driver, No. 5 Arrow McLaren Chevrolet
Starting Position | P2 | |
Finishing Position | P4 | |
Championship Standings | 469 points | 2nd |
"I just didn't feel like I had the performance today. There were cars giving me a lot of pressure from behind. It felt like we extracted the most out of what we had. Congrats to Christian on the podium, and I'm happy for Arrow McLaren with our most podiums we've ever had in a season. There are still three races to go. We're going to keep pushing, but the 10 car just keeps winning."

Nolan Siegel, Driver, No. 6 NTT DATA Arrow McLaren Chevrolet
Starting Position | P16 | |
Finishing Position | P18 | |
Championship Standings | 181 points | 21st |
“An up and down day for the No. 6 NTT DATA Arrow McLaren Chevrolet crew. I led laps for the first time in INDYCAR, but I’m ready for that to translate into a strong result. We had a puncture early on, which shifted our strategy a bit. That set us back, and then we lost some pace later in the race. We're going to look into what happened there, but I'm confident we can reset and come back strong in Portland.”
Tony Kanaan, Team Principal, Arrow McLaren
"It was a very positive weekend if you think about all the partners we had out here in Monterey and all the activities we had off-track on this last stretch before we have a well-deserved weekend off. It goes without saying how good of a job the team is doing not only on track but also off the track, and people don't always realize how important that is and also how it can impact performance to give the drivers the rest and peace of mind to drive the race car. Result-wise, this weekend marks an all-time record for the team with 11 podiums across a season, and we have more work to do there. We delivered Team Chevy's top performance again this weekend, and we're really proud of that. That said, we've still got to fight hard for this championship the last three races. We didn't get off to the smoothest start here, but what matters is the end result and how the team pulls it together come race day. We've got a lot to take away from this weekend to get better and challenge the 10 car that seems unstoppable this season."
