Callum Ilott
Callum Ilott, born in Cambridge, England, began karting just before his seventh birthday when his father took him to a racetrack for the first time. Callum was hooked from there and began racing competitively as soon as he could.
Callum’s success in the karting world led him to the FIA Formula 3 Championship, where he managed a 12th-place finish in the championship for Carlin Motorsports despite his rookie status. He then joined the GP3 Series with ART Grand Prix in 2018, while also participating in the Ferrari Driver Academy.
The FIA Formula 2 Championship was next for Callum, where he secured a pair of podiums and a pole in his first season in the series in 2019. Callum built on that success in 2020 and earned a second-place finish in the series after producing three wins, five poles and six podiums.
Callum has served as a test and reserve driver for multiple Formula 1 teams, including in 2021 for Ferrari. That year, he also made his debut in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES with Juncos Hollinger Racing, where he would spend the next two full seasons. Callum compiled five top-10 finishes from 2022-23, including two top-five finishes last season.
While racing for Jota Sport in the 2024 FIA World Endurance Championship, he also made three starts for Arrow McLaren at St. Petersburg, The Thermal Club, and the 108th Running of the Indianapolis 500.
Callum resides in Indianapolis with his French Bulldog and two guinea pigs. In his free time, he enjoys watching shows like “Peaky Blinders” and “Clarkson’s Farm,” as well as playing with remote-controlled planes, video games and golf.
