This week, McLaren Shadow will be racing in the penultimate event of the 2022 F1 Esports Series.
Virtual trips to Monza, Mexico and COTA are up next, where we will be looking to defend our lead in both the Drivers' and Constructors’ Championships.
We top the Constructors’ Championships on 180 points, with a 65-point lead over Red Bull. In the Drivers' Standings, Lucas Blakeley is first with a 15-point advantage, whilst Bari Boroumand is third.
While Bari, Lucas and Wilson get ready to race, here’s everything you need to know.
“Going into Event 3, we are looking to build on our progress from Event 2. Practice with the team has been going well, and we feel well-prepared for all three tracks.”
“Event 3 has some of the most challenging tracks of the season in terms of qualifying, to execute the laps when it matters will be incredibly hard. We’ve put a lot of preparation in the short space between the last event and now, so hopefully our efforts will be rewarded”
“Event 3 has some of the trickiest tracks on the calendar, as well as a very short turnaround from Event 2, which makes it very mentally challenging. We know it’s going to be tough, so we’re doing everything we can to be as prepared as possible and hoping we come away with some good results for the team.”
