Lucas Banner

“Looking ahead to the final event of 2025, we’re fully focused on finishing the season as strongly as possible. We have four returning tracks, and the team have worked incredibly hard in preparation since Event Two.

“Mexico and Brazil are two busy tracks with long straights giving lots of opportunities to go side by side into the breaking zones. This should create some interesting races with the potential for mixed conditions also added in.”

"We’ll round off the season with Qatar and Abu Dhabi. The race at Lusail will have a big influence from Qualifying, so our focus there will be to secure good grid positions to maximise our potential for the Grand Prix.

“Abu Dhabi for the season finale is a tricky track to get every part of the car setup correctly, so we’ll make sure we head into that race with confidence in our preparation.

“Ultimately, we want to end the season as strongly as possible with positive results to reward the team for all the hard work that has been put in over the last few months.”

Alfie Butcher

“I’m really looking forward to getting back underway in Stockholm for Event Three to finish the 2025 season. We have four more exciting tracks to tackle so preparation has been key.

”Mexico is a track with lots of opportunities, there are both slow and high-speed corners which will be an exciting watch alongside the opportunity for rain. Similarly in Brazil, there may also be a weather threat and that added to the windy circuit layout will be interesting.

“Qatar and Abu Dhabi are two exciting circuits that we’ll be looking to finish the season strongly. Qatar will have a big focus on Qualifying with the limited overtaking opportunities. We have worked well as a team ahead of that race so I'm confident going into it.

“Abu Dhabi is always a fun race and an enjoyable one to finish on. I’ll be racing hard to help improve our final position in the Championship.”

Wilson

“Heading into the last event of the season, the entire team are hoping to end on a high.

“We have four races to go with some standout tracks like Brazil ahead of us. I'm looking forward to seeing how the race unfolds there as it usually produces some exciting and outstanding racing.

“It has been a tough season with a mixture of highs and lows, and we will give it our all this week to finish well. The team have put in lots of hard work for Event Three, and we’re now looking to get the results we deserve.

“Thank you to the fans for all the support we have received so far, it’s really appreciated by everyone in the McLaren Shadow F1 Sim Racing Team.”

Joel Chapman, Team Manager, McLaren Shadow, said:

”The team have been working extremely hard during the four-week gap between Event Two and Event Three. I'm proud of the attitude and resilience of each member as we look to maximise point scoring and end the season on a high.

“Alfie's win at Spa during Event Two was a fantastic showing of the potential of this team, and with a third of the races to go, now is the time to capitalise on the positive momentum to move closer to our objectives. It's been an exciting season with some great highs, and I can't wait to go again this week for the final event of the Championship.”
