“Another race, another podium for me. It was the first race with Pit Boost, which adds another spectacle to the race. It was great to see the team execute this procedure without any issues, which shows how well-prepared we were for this event.

“We lost a couple of positions which was a little bit frustrating, but I fought hard to get past them both and secure my second Formula E podium. I couldn’t be happier right now and look forward to the next race tomorrow.”

“We’ve just finished the first night race here in Jeddah. It’s been a very productive day for the team with Taylor getting a podium and me getting in the points in P8. The race was very challenging for me, being spun around at turn one which put us in last position. To fight back from there is a testament to the team’s efforts.”

“We’ve just finished the first of Season 11’s home races for the NEOM McLaren Formula E Team, and I’m very pleased to be celebrating a podium finish – with both cars finishing in the points.

“Taylor has once again shown his talent and maturity to deliver a stunning drive under some challenging conditions, especially given the introduction of Pit Boost.

“For Sam, I’m obviously gutted that he got spun around through no fault of his own at the start of the race, but he realised an incredible comeback with the team, managing to get the car into the points. So, a very well done to both drivers and the team.

“We’re very proud to represent NEOM here at their home races and celebrating our success together. I can’t wait to get things back underway tomorrow.”
