“Race two here in Berlin finished, and a disappointing result at the end of a race in which I could’ve scored my best result so far in Formula E.
“I think the team have done a great job to deliver a car and the strategy to put me in a position with potential to win the race at one stage. Looking at the bigger picture, the fight for Championship position is still very much on, and I’m looking forward to continuing that in London.
“Overall, it has been a decent weekend in terms of points, but also a weekend of what could’ve been.”

“That’s Berlin wrapped up. Overall, a missed opportunity today. Unfortunately, there wasn’t a lot I could do in the incident.
“Despite the disappointing result, we hold our heads up high. Everybody at the NEOM McLaren Formula E Team has shown a lot of dedication and a great work ethic this weekend – and the cars have been extremely quick. We continue to work hard and there’s still a great opportunity to try and get back up to third place in the Team’s Championship in London.”

“For the team, there’s definitely a sense of “what could have been”, as we reflect on the second race of the weekend here in Berlin. The management of the initial phase of the race was masterful, allowing Taylor to get himself into a position which gave him the best shot yet at that elusive first win. However, the safety car which was brought out due to an incident which involved another driver and Sam – which also ended Sam’s race – neutralised Taylor’s first Attack Mode activation and put him at the mercy of all cars behind.
“Despite Taylor falling back to the very back of the field, he was able to keep his cool and drove superbly to get back into the points, finishing P6 overall.
“A massive congratulations to everyone at the Nissan Formula E Team and, of course, to Oliver Rowland. A near-perfect season has seen Oliver clinch the Driver’s World Championship title here in Berlin – richly deserved!
“We now head to London for the final two races of the season. There’s still everything to play for in all Championships and the team will reset to ensure that we give it our all.”
