The NEOM McLaren Extreme E Team has unveiled its livery for the 2024 season of the Extreme E Championship.

The design focuses on the unique NEOM McLaren Electric Racing signature linework, which is seen on the NEOM McLaren Formula E Team car. It is recognisably part of the wider McLaren Racing family, incorporating the team’s iconic papaya and anthracite colourways.

The 2024 Extreme E season will mark the team’s third in the all-electric off-road championship, which will see us return with an all-new driver line-up.

Over the last two years, the team has competed with Emma Gilmour and Tanner Foust, who scored our first two Extreme E podiums during this time. The team’s first podium was captured with a second-place finish in the 2022 season finale in the Energy X-Prix in Uruguay.

In the following season, this was followed up by another second-place finish in the 2023 Hydro X-Prix in Scotland. The NEOM McLaren Extreme E team finished the 2023 season in P8, with 68 points.

Tanner and Emma departed the team following the conclusion of the 2023 campaign and our new-look pairing will be announced on our official channels in due course.

The 2024 Extreme E season kicks into gear on 17 - 18 February in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Our third season in the series will see us travel to four locations, with 10 rounds split across five weekends, including a brand-new location as we head to in Phoenix, Arizona, which will host the season finale on 23 – 24 November.

Gary Paffett, Sporting Director, NEOM McLaren Extreme E Team said:

"Throughout our time competing in Extreme E, we have continually evolved as a team, and this livery is a reflection of that. I can’t wait to see it race on a wide variety of terrains across the world in 2024.”
