Mikkel Jensen is multi-Championship-winning Danish racing driver who climbed his way to the front-running class at Le Mans via single-seaters, GT racing, and international endurance competitions.

After beginning his motorsport career in karting, Mikkel moved to single-seater racing and clinched the ADAC Formel Masters Championship in 2014 with 10 race wins, establishing himself as a rising star. He transitioned to endurance racing with success, capturing the European Le Mans Series LMP3 title in 2019 , winning multiple races and demonstrating strong racecraft throughout the season.

Mikkel further advanced his career in prototype racing, becoming an IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship LMP2 Champion in 2021, highlighted by victories at iconic endurance events. This success saw him get snapped up by Peugeot for their FIA World Endurance Championship Hypercar programme, where he scored a podium finish in all three seasons.

In January 2026, Mikkel was announced as the first driver who will represent McLaren Racing in its return to Le Mans and as it enters the WEC.
