Jake Benham joined the McLaren Shadow F1 Sim Racing Team in June 2025.

Born in King’s Lynn, England, Jake was signed following three successful seasons with the Mercedes Esports Team, where he partnered Daniel Bereznay and István Puki to a third-place finish in the 2025 Teams' Championship standings.

Jake is an experienced sim racer with multiple strong performances under his belt, having secured two podiums and a further three top-five finishes in his six drives for Mercedes during the 2025 F1 Sim Racing World Championship.

The two-time World Online Racing Series Champion joins the McLaren Shadow F1 Sim Racing Team line-up, which is formed of proven race winner Alfie Butcher and two-time Premier Sim Gaming League winner Wilson Hughes.
