Alfie Butcher, from Bicester, England, joined the McLaren Shadow F1 Sim Racing Team in September 2024 following a successful debut campaign with the Haas F1 Team Esports during the 23/24 F1 Sim Racing season. In his debut season, he secured two race wins and a second-place finish. This impressive form saw the then-17-year-old claim fifth position in the 2023/24 F1 Sim Racing Drivers’ Championship, scoring a total of 106 points.

A talented sim racer with a passion for success, Alfie dominated the F1 Esports Challengers Championship in 2023, being crowned the PC Champion at just 16-years-old. He has also previously held the 2022 PSGL PC F2 Championship title.

Alfie has joined McLaren Shadow F1 Sim Racing team on a multi-year contract as the team sets it sights on climbing back to the top of the F1 Sim Racing Constructors’ Championship with Alfie part of the line-up.
