Sparco and McLAREN
From biometric gloves to lighter Formula 1 harnesses

Sparco, which has been a partner of McLaren since 1996, has revealed the technology that goes into the kit it supplies to the team.
Founded in Turin (Italy) in 1977, Sparco supplies McLaren with racewear for Carlos and Lando, including racesuits, gloves and seat belts.
• Arrow RG-7evo: A biometric glove with exclusive Sparco HTX technology, touch-sensitive on index and thumb
• Suit Prime +: 600 grams, ultra-light and comfortable
• Prime H-10: Titanium and exclusive fabric for the lightest F1 seat belt
Arrow gloves RG-7evo
A light, comfortable and ergonomic glove with integrated biometric technology. The Arrow is a glove that, thanks to the single-layer fabric, combines the characteristics of great breathability with lightness and perfect ergonomics. Sparco's exclusive patented HTX technology allows the thumb and forefinger to be touch-sensitive, while the external seams ensure maximum comfort while racing.
The Arrow gloves have biometric technology: the palm area features a chip sensor that monitors the blood pressure and heart rate of the driver. This allows the condition of the drivers to be constantly monitored and gives medical staff crucial information should an intervention be necessary.
Prime H-10 harness
At just 400 grams, the Prime H-10 harness is the lightest-ever six-point belt in F1. Thanks to research completed by the Sparco R&D department, the use of titanium and an innovative two-inch ribbon delivers record lightness and exceptional performance.
Prime + suit
Developed by the Sparco R&D department, the racesuits worn by Carlos and Lando are among the lightest in the sport, with a size 52 suit weighing less than 600 grams. This is a result of attention to detail such as an ultra-slim zip, seamless cuffs and cavities, reduced collar and shoulder straps, and flattened belts.
