This event is at an Austin downtown location. We recommend using Google Maps to plan your journey using public transport or rideshare services.  There is no dedicated event parking but there is limited pay-to-park street parking in the surrounding areas. 

No, McLaren Racing Live: Zone Studio will be completely free and non-ticketed, operating on a first-come, first-served basis. Once the venue reaches capacity, entry will switch to a one-in, one-out system.

Yes, the event is family friendly, but all guests under 16 will need to attend with a parent or guardian.

No, there is no hospitality at this event. 

If you need to leave the venue and wish to come back later or the following day, you will need to queue up again at the entrance. Please be aware that entry is not guaranteed. 

Fans can explore a mix of headline attractions, interactive activities, and rare McLaren heritage. Highlights include:

You cannot book any of the activations. Activations will be on a first come, first served queuing system. 

There are no time constraints at the fan zone, but you can expect to spend up to an hour onsite.

Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri will be busy at the circuit throughout the race weekend, so they won’t be appearing at the Zone Studio – but there’ll be plenty of McLaren experiences to enjoy while they’re in action on track.

The Zone Studio is designed as an immersive McLaren experience rather than a race-viewing venue, so it won’t be broadcasting the live track action. Instead, you can get up close to our 2025 F1 car, put your racing skills to the test on our simulators, explore historic McLaren memorabilia, and experience the team through fresh, creative perspectives.

Yes, the venue is ADA accessible.

Public toilets are located within the venue. ADA accessible toilets are also available.

Service animals are permitted and admitted into McLaren Racing Live: Zone Studio. Each service animal must remain with its owner and be restrained. If any service animals interfere with other guests, corrective action may include removal of the service animal from the facility.

Handlers are responsible for cleaning up after their service animals in accordance with event and ADA guidelines. Pets, emotional support, therapy, or comfort animals are not permitted. McLaren Racing does not condone animals being left in vehicles or unattended while on-property. Any animals left unattended may be picked up by animal control.

Safety is our top priority, and all guests go through a screening process upon entry. McLaren Racing Live uses entrance screening procedures similar to security standards at many larger venues, arenas, and stadiums across the country. These measures include metal-detecting wands and enhanced bag checks. 

Bag checks are conducted thoroughly enough to ensure compliance with our prohibited items list, but the process is designed to move quickly and minimize delays. Please note bags larger than 12” x 12” x 20” are not permitted.

Prohibited items include all weapons including pocket knives, oversized bags, backpacks, outside food and beverage, cans, bottles, alcohol, drugs, laser pens, utility tools, masks (and facepaint), banners, musical instruments, video cameras, monopods, tripods, audio recording devices (unless special permission is granted), drones, selfie sticks and cameras with telephoto or zoom lenses. 

Austin City Ordinance prohibits smoking at McLaren Racing Live: Zone Studio. 

Weapons are not permitted inside the facility. No firearms (with or without a permit) are allowed at McLaren Racing Live: Zone Studio.

No - cloakroom, lockers or bag storage is not available at this event. Wheeled luggage, including cabin bags, and suitcases are not allowed inside the venue. 

We allow regular-sized strollers and pushchairs in our Zone Studio wherever possible. For the vast majority of the time, that means strollers and pushchairs are welcome in our exhibition space, even during busy periods. Limitations may be introduced for reasons of safety if the event space is extremely busy and there is an unusually high number of strollers.

No outside food or beverage is permitted. Reusable water bottles may be inspected. 

Feel free to take photographs for personal, non-commercial use. Professional photography equipment or audio/video recording equipment will not be allowed into the venue. Only cameras without detachable lenses and that are smaller than a shirt pocket will be allowed into the venue.

By entering McLaren Racing Live: Zone Studio, you consent to McLaren Racing and its partners using your image, voice, and likeness in any media worldwide, in perpetuity, for promotional and broadcast purposes. You waive all rights related to such use.

Everyone, regardless of background and community should feel welcome. 

Any conduct which violates an individual’s dignity, or which creates an intimidating, hostile, degrading, humiliating, offensive or otherwise uncomfortable environment for an individual will not be tolerated and the person causing the violation may be escorted from site. 

We are a smoke and vape-free facility. Smoking and vaping is not allowed on sidewalks within 15 feet of the venue.

First aid will be available within our venue during public opening hours.

Lost children should be reported to the nearest McLaren Racing team member or our Guest Services staff. Team members will be able to contact our emergency teams and support will be dispatched immediately.
