24-year-old Erhan Jajovski is a professional esports player, and our first ever finalist from North Macedonia. 

Beating out the competition and qualifying for McLaren Shadow via rFactor 2, Erhan is ready to fight for the ultimate prize in esports.

1. rFactor2 

Realism, force feedback and overall feel of the sim in rFactor 2 is what make this game Erhan’s favourite. Qualifying for the McLaren Shadow Grand Final via that very platform was therefore a given, but as expected it was an intense race to the chequered flag. Erhan qualified thousands of a second behind last year’s Shadow finalist Nuno Pinto, but thankfully made a swift overtake in Turn 1 to take the lead. The rest, they say, is history.

2.  Keep your friends close

The esports community is close, and Erhan has made great friendships thanks to his career. In terms of the McLaren Shadow Grand Final, Erhan has his eyes on fellow finalist Kevin Siggy Rebernak - the two have competed in the past on rFactor 2 and will once again battle it out at McLaren HQ. He knows that this year it’s going to be more competitive than ever, but sees Kevin as his main rival.

3. McLaren family

Since he was a young boy, Erhan has been a huge motorsport fan and started watching Formula 1 when he was six-years-old. He’s is hoping to follow in the footsteps of his favourite F1 driver, Fernando Alonso, by becoming a member of the McLaren family.

4.  Determination

Quite simply, Erhan wants to become the McLaren Shadow champion because it’s the ultimate prize in esports, and to be part of McLaren would be the dream scenario. Determined to win, Erhan will do whatever it takes to come out on top.
