Holidays are coming, holidays are coming, holidays are coming…

Yes, the holidays are indeed coming. It’s the perfect opportunity to spend time with loved ones, relax and recharge ahead of the new year. But Christmas isn’t all tinsel, turkey and toys. It’s fraught with danger. And we’re not just talking about the multi-socket adapter in your living room with enough volts coursing through it to somehow simultaneously power the array of incandescent lights that adorn your house, another set of lights on your Christmas tree, that giant inflatable Santa that gets mistaken for an intruder in the early hours of the morning and, of course, the television blaring out numerous Christmas specials. No, we’re talking about presents. Specifically, the risk of receiving unwanted ones at this ‘most wonderful time of the year’.

While some are heartfelt, there are those which fall short and fall short by a long way. We’ve all been there, hurriedly tearing away wrapping paper like a kid at, well, Christmas, only to find yet another pair of socks or a heinous Christmas jumper.
