Jake Hughes

"I’m really looking forward to Rome. Portland wasn’t quite what we wanted, especially after a strong qualifying. We want to put things right and get back on track for the remainder of the season. We’re expecting the races to be different from what we saw last time out in Portland and more towards what we saw in the first half of the season. We’re quietly confident that we should have better weekend from a racing point of view, and continue with our qualifying performance, which will be vitally important on a track that’s quite challenging to overtake on. It’s a bumpy track, and I can’t wait to tackle it this weekend."

Rene Rast

"The Rome E-Prix will be a double-header, and will mark the second-to-last race weekend of the season. I’ve visited Rome once before, and the track will be quite challenging. There are two very fast corners, Turn 5 and Turn 6, and the circuit in general is very bumpy. As always, our target is to collect points and hopefully be in the position to fight for a podium. We’ve regained our competitiveness in qualifying, and we now need to translate that into race performance."

Ian James

"We’re now off to Rome, where we will be looking to continue to ensure that the experience we have gained since the start of the season can be harnessed to improve our on-track performance. The team’s mantra of 'controlling the controllable' will continue to be heard as we strive to reach the level of operational excellence required to deal with the inevitable curve-balls and achieve the results of which we know we are capable.

"With this mindset, we’ll not only look to have a strong result in Rome, but at the season finale in London as well. This will provide a springboard into the next season, where we will look to move forward towards our goal of getting back to Championship contention.

"For now, we relish that challenge that Rome will bring - a great circuit in a great city!"

Charlie Eastwood, Test & Development Driver

"I’m really looking forward to getting back in the car this weekend in Rome. The Berlin Rookie Test was a great experience which I thoroughly enjoyed. Most importantly, I hope the session in Rome will give the team a head start before FP1 with different types of running, and help the team throughout the weekend."
