ReLIVE the Canadian GP
McLaren LIVE relayed live radio chat and commentary from inside the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes garage throughout the 2013 Canadian Grand Prix. Here's your chance to ReLIVE the action as it happened.
On the Grid
The cars are on the grid with final checks underway. The weather looks set fair but we have a 20 per cent chance of rain at some point.
Jenson has made his way to the grid and is preparing to get into the car. 10m to go.
It's a very narrow pitlane and start-finish straight here – which means the grandstands are very close. It makes for a fantastic atmosphere.
Generally the Grand Prix is the loudest thing in town – but the Royal Canadian Air Force flyby definitely runs it close.
Cooling comes away from the cars. There's a slow exodus from the grid by everyone but the crews. Two minutes.
Checo is starting from P12, Jenson is P14. The first few laps are traditionally very busy at this race.
Lights out!
First lap of the Canadian Grand Prix completed. Checo has held position in P12, Jenson has dropped a place to P15.
With everyone given a free choice of compound, the majority have chosen to start on Options. Only DIR, GRO, BIA and CHI are on Prime.
A long, strung-out snake of cars has formed. Checo has HUL in front and MAS behind. Jenson is following MAL and is in front of DIR.

Lap 11
Jenson is creeping up on the back of Checo, the gap is now down to 0.8 seconds.
Checo radio talk: “Box this lap, confirm.”
Lap 13
Good stop for Checo, he takes on a set of Prime tyres.
Checo radio talk: “Let's get some good pace in these first few laps but be careful of graining – push as hard as you think is safe for the tyres.”
