
Max Neyron
Director of Operations, Arrow McLaren
Max Neyron is Director of Operations for Arrow McLaren and has been with the team since 2009, originally joining Sam Schmidt Motorsports as a mechanic for its Indy Lights program which won a championship in 2010 with Jean-Karl Vernay in Max’s second season.
Max, a trained diesel mechanic originally from Canada, made his way into racing in 2002 with Firestone Racing, mounting and dismounting tires for the INDYCAR SERIES. He spent two seasons supporting the teams’ tire needs throughout each race weekend.
Before his move to Sam Schmidt Motorsports, Max spent five seasons with Players Forsythe Racing from 2004 to 2009 as a mechanic where he experienced his first race win with James Hinchcliffe in Portland in 2006.
As Director of Operations for Arrow McLaren, Max is responsible for logistics and all movements to prepare for tests and races for the three-car team.
