Design Nolan Siegel’s Helmet
Win the chance to have your artwork featured on Nolan Siegel’s helmet at Portland International Raceway
Ever look at a piece of artwork and say, “Oh, I could have done that!”? Well, here’s your chance to create a one-of-a-kind design to be featured on Nolan Siegel’s helmet during the 2024 Portland Grand Prix.
Arrow McLaren and SmartStop Self Storage are coming together to create a contest which allows the future winner and one guest to access race day for the August 23-25 NTT INDYCAR SERIES event at Portland International Raceway.
Submit your creative artwork for the chance to have your design raced by Nolan at Portland in the No. 6 SmartStop Arrow McLaren Chevrolet.
This contest is open to residents in the United States and Canada only.
Here’s how to enter:
1. Create your design for Nolan Siegel’s helmet by downloading the templates.
2. Submit your artwork via the submission mechanic below (maximum file size 25MB).
3. Submit a video explaining your artwork and your decision-making process in your design.
4. Our panel of judges will select their favorite fan designs during the grand prix on the streets of Toronto on July 19-21.
5. See the winner’s creation at the Portland Grand Prix August 23-25, 2024.
GRAND PRIZE: Your design concept will be featured on Nolan Siegel’s helmet at the 2024 Portland Grand Prix. SmartStop Self Storage will cover race tickets and hospitality, and all other expenses not specifically mentioned are solely the winner’s responsibility.
RUNNER-UP PRIZE: Two (2) runner-up finishers will receive a signed Arrow McLaren cap by Nolan Siegel.

Rae M. from Pennsylvania took the top choice from Nolan and SmartStop Self Storage CEO Michael Schwartz.
She will receive a prize pack from Arrow McLaren, while we await the Portland Grand Prix, August 23-25.
Now, we will see her design featured on Nolan's helmet and welcome her at the racetrack.

Sophia S. from Maryland and Josh D. from Indiana took home the runners-up positions. Both will receive a signed No. 6 cap from Nolan.
Just look at the detail in both's designs above.
The Kanaan family took two chances to take the victory. Tony Kanaan entered his 2023 Indianapolis 500 helmet into the ring, but Nolan was all for fan-submitted designs!
However, Tony's son Deco Kanaan has some serious skills and wanted to share his masterpiece.

Tell us that you expected to see an NS tree branch-like script. Or a bunch of topography-styled designs. Or all the reference of a seagull (Siegel, ha! Get it?).

COMPETITION
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Thank you for interest in this competition. Please read the following before entering:
1. The competition is open to legal residents of the U.S. and Canada who are at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry, excluding employees and their immediate families of McLaren (the "Promoter") and of their affiliated companies or agents, or other persons professionally connected with the draw. The competition is void where prohibited by law, rule or regulation.
2. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
3. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
4. The opening date for design submissions is 8:00 a.m. ET on June 27, 2024 and the closing date is 11:59 p.m. ET on July 18, 2024 (the "Entry Period"). Voting will take place on between July 19-21 2024. No bulk, consumer group or third-party entries will be accepted. Entries disallowed due to technical issues shall not be included in the draw. Entries will require a video submission discussing their work.
5. One entry is allowed per person. Sharing of accounts for purposes of the competition is not allowed. If the Promoter discovers or has reasonable grounds to believe that you have exceeded the maximum number of entries, you may be disqualified.
6. To responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.7. There will be one (x1) GRAND PRIZE winner will be awarded: The winning artwork will be featured on the driver’s helmet of the No. 6 SmartStop Arrow McLaren Chevrolet at Portland International Raceway on August 23-25, 2024, tickets to the event and hospitality courtesy of the Sponsor and Team. All other expenses not specifically mentioned are solely the winner’s responsibility. There will be two (x2) runners-up. Each runner-up will receive a signed Arrow McLaren cap by the driver of the No. 6 SmartStop Arrow McLaren Chevrolet.
8. The prize is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.
9. The prize is not transferable. The prize is subject to availability, and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
10. The winner will be chosen via a vote between a SmartStop Self Storage employee, Tony Kanaan and driver of the No. 6 SmartStop Arrow McLaren Chevrolet, verified by the Promoter and or its agents.
11. The winner will be notified via email within 24 hours of the vote.
12. The Promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered.
13. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by United States law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United States.

15. Any personal data relating to participants will be used solely for the purposes of this promotion.
